Pavement 03:30
i tear out my eyes every time you're invited the colors for whom i've been thinking keep switching and fading i wish i had time in control when it started for all the dumb reasons i wanted to stay don't leave me standing out on the pavement don't have me fading out with the radio don't have me pulling out on the rip cord don't leave me holding on the seconds pass by as we sit at the table the books i've been reading keep sending me out on an island don't worry baby it's not that important drowning in circles outside of this room don't leave me standing out on the pavement don't have me fading out with the radio don't have me pulling out on the rip cord don't leave me holding on don't leave me holding on

To My Brain 03:26
hollow as the driftwood at your feet washed and weathered from the sea hounded like the willow in the stream two swift kicks were all i need lost above the smoke of choices razed choke upon the dust up in the haze and i'm starting to relay these thoughts to my brain desolate we're falling with the leaves while the wood and bark remain pollen on the gentle northern breeze two rough bits of news today lost above the smoke of choices razed choke upon the dust up in the haze and i'm starting to relay these thoughts to my brain signals from your beating muscle strain light up mountains on the screen everything but this now slips away the two of us alone again lost above the smoke of choices razed choke upon the dust up in the haze and i'm starting to relay these thoughts to my brain

brother won't you take this guilty feeling and erase it from my mind i've been back to where i thought i started on this terrible decline why is it so hard for us to love brother there are two heads on my pillow and i cannot sleep at night wake up in my clothes sit at the table and reflect upon my life why is it so hard for us to love wide alive take it all in stride then why is it so hard for us to leave

reading the marks from the words left behind on your window lost in the thoughts on my mind as i echo your face i'll turn this one over the world doesn't know who we are i'm turning backwards it's spinning away with your car wake with the sun running wild through the rust and the willows watch for me now i'm sure i'll hang around i'm tied down i'll turn this one over the world doesn't know who we are i'm turning backwards it's spinning away with your car light in our eyes i'm the passenger making their exit come settle down i've got room for your heart in my arms i'll turn this one over the world doesn't know who we are i'm turning backwards it's spinning away with your car i'll turn this one over the world doesn't know who i am we're spinning backwards i'm turning away from your

lately i've been cold frost and winter clothes broken ice and snow is frozen at my feet as it melts around my toes how can we stay here live again this year wash up in your arms a silhouette unto as it breaks and falls apart hollow as the sound beneath us i'm hollow as the wind on the wires that form between us we pause to breath it in now that winters gone dried up with the sun torn and ripped in two i'm swallowed by the change and regret for what we lose
6.
Wide, Alive! 02:38
wide alive if only for a moment left to float i take on water freely there to see me and wrap their arms around us there to see me i take just what i want in the walls i carve out my inscription broken down with satellites above us and i still can't settle on our amendments and i still can't be what we've agreed in a place of reckless and devotion i love it when it catches up and frees me and i've taken the love from those around us and i've taken enough to rescue me yes i've taken the love from those around us and i've taken enough to rescue me

Baskerville 02:24
shadows chase around the empty barn like hounds of baskerville out of the dark and i tied up all my shoes into a knot so i'll fall for you right from the start pillows on the floor to line the walls we're there to start the evening early on and it takes a little while to fill the room these old beams are creaking gently beneath our shoes waking like i never slept at all hang me up on the mantle on the wall and these gears are pretty heavy for the morning i'll be ready to embrace this subtle fear of moving on
9.
Jay 03:20
up from the creek where we spent every winter alone out in the house left abandoned beside the road i'm like the face that you see when you're on your own jay was the one who was waiting he wouldn't go how could we never have noticed the sign on the street please leave your shoes at the door it's not mud we need i'm like the games that you play when you're on your phone jay was the one who was waiting he wouldn't go stuck in a room with nobody i'm wanting to see out with the lights when i needed you here with me i'm like the thing you forgot that you thought you'd know jay was the one who was waiting he wouldn't go but i'm not the face that you see when you're on your own and jay is the one who's still waiting there all alone
